WHAT
IS INCLUSION ?
Inclusion refers to the equal participation of people with different needs, including those with disabilities, in all aspects of life such as education, social recreation and employment.
Inclusive education means children with special needs and their peers without special needs learning together, as well as from each other, in the same classrooms.

|
HOW DO WE PROVIDE INCLUSION SUPPORT ?
Many preschools do not have teachers who are trained to teach children with special needs. We offer support to preschools that are keen to include children with special needs into their program.
WHO PROVIDES THE SUPPORT ?
Special education teachers from the First Step Intervention Centre. The Centre offers early intervention and transition to school programs for children with learning difficulties and/or developmental delays aged between 0-6 years.
